Bible leaves will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Bibles and books are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Please note that we no longer ship via USPS Media mail due to unusually long delivery times. Most orders ship the next business day.

Yes- However, we haven’t had one in over 17 years of operation! We are confident that you will be very pleased with your purchase. We strive hard to offer only quality selections that we would be proud to own ourselves. Returns are limited to 14 days from the date of purchase and return postage is to be paid by the buyer. All sales are final after 14 days.
Each and every item we sell is hand curated by us personally and are accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity. We sell only genuine 150 to 500+ year old articles. We DO NOT sell reproductions!
In simplest terms, it is a single sheet from a Bible that has been printed on both sides. One leaf equals two printed pages.
NEVER!- We consider ourselves caretakers of these ancient examples of the Word of God first and foremost. Restoration, conservation and preservation are always our goals. However, some ancient Bibles have been too severely damaged throughout the centuries or are just too incomplete ever to restore. These are used to restore other Bibles and the remaining leaves are offered for sale here.
Bible leaves are a very affordable way of obtaining a centuries old part of our Christian heritage in print. Think about it- how many other 400 year old objects can be had for $100? They are unique gift ideas for the hard to buy for someone special and make impressive displays in the home, office or Church library. Also, they make great teaching aids, faith conversation starters and are perfect for fundraising.
Yes- We encourage it. It may be placed in a traditional frame provided that the materials contacting it are acid free. Float frames are also a great choice utilizing two panes of glass so both sides may be read.

A folio Bible leaf is the largest available measuring between 12 and 19 inches tall depending on the edition. Their large size makes them easy to read and creates an imposing display when framed.
Yes- Bibles that were printed before 1800 were done so on sheets of cotton linen paper sometimes called rag paper. This paper is very strong, durable and is similar to the paper that is used to print money. With reasonable care, they can be safely read for many years to come if the Lord should tarry!

Yes- We collate every Bible we sell. That is, we check them page by page to ensure none are missing. At the same time, we make notes regarding the condition of each section of the Bible.
Yes- Every antique Bible that we sell undergoes a comprehensive conservation repairing any careless- page- turner paper tears, cleaning of the pages where possible and dusting of the gutters. Any missing pages are replaced with fine facsimiles on sympathetic paper. Bindings are cleaned and if made of leather, are treated with an archival leather preservative and polished.
