1611 King James Bible Leaf  From the Apocrypha … Printed in London by Robert Barker and John Bill, printers to King James I, The “Authorized Version or The King James Bible” has remained the beloved translation of the faithful for over four centuries. With over a billion copies and in continuous print for over 400 years, no other book in history is its equal. The historic 1611 edition has 59 lines of Old English Blackletter type to the full page. It was issued 5 times in this pulpit folio format- 1611, 1613 /1611, 1617, 1634 and 1640 /1639 . This leaf was physically printed in the year 1640.

A huge blackletter pulpit folio leaf- Measures: 16 1/4″ x 10 3/4″ and is printed on cotton linen paper sometimes called rag paper. Very Good condition with only minor soiling as expected after 380 years of use.

A certificate of authenticity is included.
