1625 King James Bible London Quarto Book of Psalms Psalter Leaf – text of King Henry 8th’s 1539 Great Bible

The Psalter is the extra book of Psalms found at the back of the Book of Common Prayer and before the Old Testament. Printed in London by Robert Barker, printer to King James I.  8 1/2″ x  6 1/4″ on cotton linen paper. Good to Very Good Condition. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Herbert #396. We have several leaves available- if you are looking for a favorite verse or passage, please ask – we probably have it. A great gift idea. (Pictured Psalter title page is shown for interest and is not included)

HOW TO ORDER:

Leaves noted as “Title Pages” are premium leaves and are an exceptional value. Title Pages are those found at the beginning of each book and contain beautiful engraved initials. Note- you are NOT ordering from the photo gallery, but from the list below. Photos are examples showing content and condition and may have already been sold. If you would like to see photos of the actual leaf you would like to purchase, simply contact us with your request. 

2.) Add the quantity of leaves you would like to purchase to your cart.

3.) Checkout as usual.

4.) VERY IMPORTANT ! You must contact us with your selection(s) after checkout. Please provide us with the name of the book and the chapter and verse numbers of each leaf ordered. (I.E. Psalm 8:3- 15:3)

5.) We will ship your order the following business day via USPS First Class Mail along with our Certificate of Authenticity for each leaf.

6.) We highly recommend framing leaves for proper display and protection. An off the shelf frame may be used as long as the matting etc. is listed as “acid free”. Float frames that utilize two panes of glass so that both sides of the leaf may be viewed are excellent choices. Leaves measure 8 1/2″ tall by 6 1/4″ wide.
