Sell Us Your Bible

We are always seeking quality English Bibles printed in the 1500’s and 1600’s, German Bibles printed in the 1500’s and American Bibles printed in the 1700’s. If you wish to explore the possibility of selling us your Bible, please email us the answers to the following questions along with some photos to begin the process.

1.) DATE, NAME of the Printer and PLACE of Printing- These can be found on the General Title page usually found at the beginning of the Old Testament, on the New Testament Title page found at the beginning of the New Testament or on the Colophon found on the last page of the Book of Revelation.
2.) TRANSLATION– Is it a King James Version, Geneva Version or another earlier version?
3.) HEIGHT, WIDTH AND THICKNESS– These are the overall dimensions of the Bible measured when it is closed and laying flat on a desk.
4.) TYPE and CONDITION of BINDING – Is it made of leather, suede, cloth or paper? Are any brass or silver clasps or corners present? Are the covers firmly attached to the binding?
5.) CONDITION of PAGES– Has the Bible been collated? (checked page by page for any missing leaves), Are they clean? Are any torn?
6.) EXTRA BIBLICAL MATERIAL – Does it contains THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER, PSALTER, THE GENEALOGIES, MAP OF CANAAN, THE APOCRYPHA, CONCORDANCES, WHOLE BOOK OF PSALMS COLLECTED INTO ENGLISH METER or other extra features?
7.) What is your asking price for the Bible you wish to sell?

Note: If your answer to the last question above is, “I don’t know… make me an offer”, please be advised that we cannot do that via email, because we need to examine the Bible in-person to confirm its value. Please at least give us some idea of how much you want for your Bible.
